Photos

I am pretty interested in photography...I have no fancy equipment, just a digital camera and a humongous Nikon. I like to play around with settings on the camera, and shoot photos at different angles and stuff...here's some of my photos, none are very good but I felt like I wanted to post some so...

This is just a view of some trees that I took while hiking on a misty May afternoon.

A very pretty view of the Golden Gate Bridge I took when on vacation in California (totally awesome place to go on vacation btw!)
The sunset at Pismo Beach...I was a little late capturing this one. (still in California!)

XD still in California...but isn't this view so pretty?
Fountains of Bellagio erupting in front of beautiful Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas (also awesome place to go on vacation)
Here's a shot of the cabin my family and I stayed in...we were skiing/snowboarding in Vermont. Very good slopes there! I did nearly freeze to death getting this photo though...=D
Haha I actually didn't take this (as you might be able to tell from the date in the bottom of the picture) my mom did...and it is a little crooked but I have no idea how to edit it...Banff National Park in Canada! Very pretty place.
YUUUMMMMMMMM................
At Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. This is what I call a view!!!
If you can't tell already...that was deelicioussss. At a restaurant in the Grand Canyon, near Angel's Point.
Awesome view of a rocky beach...at a viewpoint while driving on the Road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii.
A gigantic Banyan tree in Hawaii. (this is only a tiny portion of it)
Rafting along a river in Nevada...I was sitting on the front of my raft and wanted to take a picture, all the rafters you see are total strangers to me. (If you happen to be in this picture and want it taken down please let me know!)
Two snowmen (the one on the left is a snowwoman, I guess...) made by my 7 year old sister and my mom while my dad, older brother, and I were skiing/snowboarding.
The picture's small so it's hard to see but on top of the huge door it says "ALASKA STATE CAPITOL." It's the governor's house; I was on an Alaskan cruise and we stopped in Juneau.
To me this seems like a place where fairies would live...if I could erase the tourists and lamps, that is.
Escargot, anyone? (From France! Ooh lala)
A waterfall spilling into a rushing river... very pretty, that Yosemite =)
Now, this summer was the first time I'd ever tried photographing fireworks so don't be too mean! This was at a display near my house.

A few more shots I took...

I'm proud of this one...my only sort-of-not-really decent-ish one.
Sea lions and seals basking on the shore. I was kayaking...forogt where, some little bay about an hour from where I live.
Aww....the otter's posing!!!!!
A lone seagull standing on a giant rock, staring out into the ocean...I just felt compelled to photograph it.
Probably the prettiest lake view I've ever seen. This is Lake Tahoe.
That was sooooooooooooooooo fun!! In Cancun, Mexico =)

An odd-ish but sort of nice picture... Lower Antelope Valley in Arizona (or Utah?)
Horseshoe Bend...awesome view, but DO NOT hike here in the middle of a July afternoon. Really bad idea. I was SO hot.
An eel or a fish or something...at an aquarium.
